Peel Aston Global Resources Limited is a Business Development Consultancy House, being part of a larger group of companies that has it’s origination in the late 1950’s as a family concern under the very capable guidance of its founder and current Chairman, Syed Manzoor Hussain Bukhari (KM, OSJ), former Hon. Ambassador of Trade for Costa Rica in New York, USA.
What We Do
Within the territory of Pakistan, we have, over the last 10 years, successfully negotiated executed contracts worth over USD 110 million in the Aviation, Defence, Energy and Manufacturing sectors.
ARMED FORCES INDENTING
In a joint venture with our Turkish Partners, we conducted a three-flights-a-week scheduled operation between Stansted (UK) and Istanbul (Turkey). The operations were carried out over the years 2001 -2003.
In representing KAZAN Helicopters, Russia, we won several tenders for the supply and maintenance of the Mi17’s in Pakistan. The in time delivery of these strategically much needed helicopters that were previously denied to the Pakistani Government reflects well upon the deep rooted contacts of our core team both locally and internationally.
Our collaboration with Eagle Tractors, USA, enabled them to supply various types of towing vehicles and ancillaries to the civil and defence aviation departments of the Government of Pakistan.
International Armoring Corporation’s Armormax, USA, a Lightweight Composite Armour has been recommended on the government level for armouring the 1800 cc vehicles provided to the parliamentarians, thereby saving the exchequer billions of rupees both in the otherwise import of foreign armoured jeeps and the foreign exchange required for purchasing these vehicles. This same solution is being considered at the Heavy Industry Taxila for the Armoured Personnel Carrier, vehicles of the armed forces and as a commercial venture in collaboration with our company.
ENERGY
Currently we have been awarded the EPC contract for Pakistan’s first 10 MW grid tied solar farm for Roshan Power, a subsidiary of Beaconhouse School Systems in Kasur. Our supplier of the equipment are TBEA – SunOasis, China, the second largest electrical company in the world and one of the very few having all the four modules of panel manufacturing from sand to an assembled panel under one roof in China.
In collaboration with Sira, Italy, we have successfully provided hybrid solar systems to various multi nationals in Pakistan that resulted in the following saving of OPEX as listed; Nestle (95%), Ufone (94%), Mobilink (98%) and PTCL (91.4%). Our solution for the Kohat Municipality’s drinking water tubewell scheme has a reduction of over 63 kW of power as well as a guaranteed supply of water round the clock. Sira has also been a reliable partner in conducting a study for a pilot project for the supply of energy efficient solar street lights for an entire city in Africa.
With meeco international, Switzerland, we are partnering to sell solar power produced through company owned power projects in order to facilitate the smooth induction and acceptance of solar energy in Pakistan and mainly to counter the ever escalating NEPRA tariffs of approximately 15% annually and a highly unreliable WAPDA supply.
In partnership with Aggreko, UK, our sister concern, Ayedan Global, successfully completed a 2+1 years (extension given at the end of year two) gas rental project in Karachi with KESC, now KE Electric. The project itself became a reference in tariff determination for future power generation rental proposals based on natural gas.
Our partnership with CREE, USA, through their country representative, Newage Media, has improved our energy auditing skills in the lighting sector and has resulted in our development with Pakistan International Airlines, Cantonment Board Clifton, Karachi, Getz Pharmaceuticals, Cantonment Board Quetta, Capital Development Authority, NAMAL University, Shaukat Khanum Hospital, The Lakson Group of Companies and Energy Secretariat KPK just to name a few.
MANUFACTURING
PAGRL’s associate concerns, Abbas Paper & Board Mills (Pvt) Ltd and Abbas Cold Storages and Ice Factory have been operating since 1996 and 1982 respectively in Attock.
Abbas Paper & Board Mills (Pvt) Mills was a 50 tons/day unit based on 100% recycling of the available resources in our country and managed by Mr. Khawar Bukhari, himself a Pulp & Paper Technologist from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. The operations of the unit were shut down and subsequently disposed of due to the unsupportive policies of successive governments.
The Cold Storages and Ice Manufacturing units are operational till date and further expansion of the storage facility is in the pipeline in collaboration with USAID.
MEDICAL
The country representation of Gerling & Associates, USA, had resulted in our being shortlisted for a 150 Mobile Health Units requirement in Punjab under the USAID Program in the health sector.
We, in-collaboration within associate firm, have been instrumental in the acceptance and procurement of Z Medica’s QuikClot – life saving bandages for troops who would otherwise not survive fatal wounds.
CONSTRUCTION
Gandhara Construction (Pvt) Ltd, another concern of PAGRL, is a construction company having the experience of constructing 18 school buildings in the Sialkot District with
National Logistic Cell as its client for the entire project. Currently Gandhara Construction is working with an Italian company in designing energy efficient housing concepts for Pakistan that not only uses all the ‘green’ concepts but has a very low level of client utilities consumption. Through simple engineering, we provide an average difference of 12 -15 degree centigrade between the outer and the inner walls of a unit.
REAL ESTATE SERVICES
Centaurus Islamabad
Centaurus, Islamabad – a luxury, high rise residential and shopping mall complex built to world class standards that is now fast being recognized as the icon of Islamabad. Camp Salam, Ajman, UAE – a multi-purpose development in Ajman, UAE, Camp Salam comprises of 16 one bed apartments, 18 warehouses, 10 showrooms and 6 blocks of labour rooms with each block consisting of 36 rooms. This project located in the Jurf Industrial 2 area will play a pivotal role in the development of Ajman as an attractive investment destination. The experts at Peel Aston are involved in Marketing the project and they have exceeded their targets even in a recessionary business environment.
ENERGY CONSERVATION PRODUCTS
Among the products that we often use for energy conservation, UPVC Frames and Double Glazed glass is the most popular and prominent in the construction of residential, commercial and industrial applications. Our UPVC Frames and Double Glazed Glass has been used in several residential and a couple of Industrial applications in both Punjab and Islamabad.
The use of natural methods like rooftop grass layers and sun reflecting paints are being promoted for practicality and their cost effectiveness.
Fluid designs for construction projects help in the reduction of direct exposure to sunlight in the summer whilst not hindering the usage of daylight within the constructed area for less dependency on electricity during daytime hours.

Public Relations is inherently a part and parcel of most of the developments that take place around the globe.
